In 2006 I photographed my first wedding for a family member and my love for photographing people started there. I began focusing on newborns and babies when my son was born in 2009. I wanted to capture all of his newness because I knew I likely wouldn't remember the little wrinkles on his feet, the dimples on his hands and the way his newborn lips were always puffy and blistered.
I've always had a love for babies and the pregnant body. In fact I wanted to become a labour and delivery nurse, but never pursued it. Photographing babies gets my baby fix in and I adore snuggling them. Who doesn't smell a newborns head and sigh!?
I also have a love for photographing all women. To show them how beautiful they are. To help them fall in love with themselves and to show them how sexy and fierce and soft they can be. Check out my boudoir work at www.embraceboudoir.ca
I do on location lifestyle sessions in your own home and outdoors as well as studio newborn and baby sessions in my in-home studio in Oliver, but am available to photograph throughout BC.
Thanks for visiting! I hope to meet you soon and can't wait to help you get some gorgeous art on your walls!
(Thanks for Trina Cary Photography for the photos of my children and I!)
